Archived Climate Summaries
Our monthly climate summaries give detailed analysis of the average temperature and precipitation total for each month for four sites around the Mid-South. They also include records broken during the month for any of the sites, significant weather events for that month, and climate outlooks from the Climate Prediciton Center. The sites used in each of the summaries (Memphis, Jackson, Jonesboro, Tupelo) are offical weather observation sites. Climate summaries are also produced for each year, at the conclusion of the year, and are typically posted in January.
