Severe Thunderstorm Areas This Saturday; Excessive Heat in the Southern U.S.

Damaging thunderstorm winds and a few tornadoes with areas of excessive rainfall are possible today over parts of the lower Great Lakes to upper Ohio Valley and Mid-Atlantic, the Ozarks, and south-central High Plains. The Integrated Services Division (ISD) provides support to the Western Region field offices by:

providing operational IDSS guidance
managing the WR Regional Operations Center (WR ROC)
managing regional programs on weather, water, and climate
providing guidance on the implementation and interpretation of national policies and procedures
developing regional policies and guidance

The Integrated Services Division consists of both the Operations Branch and the Services Branch.
