Showers and Thunderstorms for the East; Cooler Temperatures Return Sunday into Early Week

Showers and thunderstorms will accompany a cold front that will move across the eastern third of the country through Sunday. In the wake of this front, cooler temperatures will follow for most areas east of the Rockies. The Integrated Services Division (ISD) provides support to the Western Region field offices by:

providing operational IDSS guidance
managing the WR Regional Operations Center (WR ROC)
managing regional programs on weather, water, and climate
providing guidance on the implementation and interpretation of national policies and procedures
developing regional policies and guidance

The Integrated Services Division consists of both the Operations Branch and the Services Branch.
