Storm Brings Rain and Snow to the Southwest U.S. this weekend; Heavy Snow and Rain for Alaska

A storm will pass through the southwestern U.S. this weekend with widespread rain and mountain snow. Rainfall will be mostly beneficial but poses a risk for dangerous debris flows over recent burn scars. A significant winter storm will impact Alaska through the weekend with heavy snow across western Alaska and heavy rainfall across Southcentral with strong winds and marine/coastal impacts. Administrative Management Division (ADM)

The Western Region Administrative Management Division serves as the regional focal point for a wide variety of administrative activities in support of operations. The mission of this Division is to provide advice, guidance, and support to the Regional Director, managers and field offices on budget formulation and execution, personnel management, equal employment opportunity, diversity, procurement, asset accountability, travel, and time and attendance procedures. Other general administrative functions include overseeing telecommunications and utilities billing, mail and copy services, printing requirements, physical security, records and files, government vehicles, supply and warehousing, convenience check and purchase card procedures.
