Snow Squalls Across the Great Lakes, Northern Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast; Severe Storms in the Southern Plains Wednesday into Thursday

The threat of heavy snowfall and gusty winds continue for portions of the Great Lakes, the northern Mid-Atlantic, and New England through Wednesday. There is the potential for snow squalls that may produce dangerous travel. A storm system is expected to produce severe storms over the Southern Plains Wednesday and Thursday. If there are Red Flag Warnings or Fire Weather Watches on the clicked area, the text for those will show up in the first tab. Otherwise this tab will not show up.
A tab with the Fire Weather Forecast Discussion and the forecast for the Fire Weather Zone clicked upon will be in the second tab.
A color coded Fire Weather Matrix will show up in the next tab. Some offices have created custom thresholds for the matrix. Otherwise, "default" parameters will be used. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
The final tab has a 3 hourly point forecast matrix for the next 6 days. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
