Flood Pictures on June 11, 2010
 
Torrential rain fueled the headwaters of the Little Missouri River during the early morning hours of June 11, 2010. The river swelled rapidly, and inundated much of the Albert Pike Recreation Area (Montgomery County). There were 20 fatalities reported.
 
 
The Little Missouri River mowed down trees as it went from roughly 3 feet to 23 feet in just a few hours.

Parts of the campground were unrecognizable after the water went through, with buildings and signs toppled.

Given the debris on the stairs, water almost got into this fish camp (built on stilts) near the river.

Media representatives arrived in the nearby town of Langley (Pike County) to cover the tragedy and emergency personnel searched for missing people.
