Widespread rain fell from the 9th through the 10th with the highest amounts noted from central to southwest Arkansas. After the rain came to an end, temperatures cooled off briefly but warmed back up to above normal levels quickly.
Warm and mostly dry conditions were seen through the 17th before a front moved across the state and brought temperatures back down to near normal levels.
Quiet weather was seen for a few days before a strong storm system approached the region on the 20th. Warm, moist air struggled to lift north into the state which limited any severe weather potential across Arkansas. Widespread rain and a few thunderstorms were seen on the 20th locally while scattered severe thunderstorms that produced tornadoes moved from Louisiana to Mississippi that day. Rainfall totals varied, but much of the state saw around an inch or a little more.
After the storm system moved through, colder air returned to the state. The next round of rain came through late on the 25th into the 26th. Rainfall amounts were low but breezy winds and cold air moved in after the precipitation exited to the east.
One more storm system moved into the area before the end of the month which brought a cold rain along with isolated thunderstorms. Rain moved in from the southwest early on the 30th before coming to an end early on the 1st. Rainfall amounts were between 1-2 inches across much of central, western and southern Arkansas with some locally higher amounts noted as well.
