Arkansas has had its share of historic events, many of which will be in our memories for years to come.

Winter Storm on December 25-26, 2012 (Photos)

A weak tornado (rated EF1) was spawned 2 to 3 miles west of Sheridan (Grant County) and a bowing line of storms produced straight-line wind damage across portions of Grant and Jefferson Counties during the early morning hours of December 20, 2012. Snow in Arkansas on Christmas Day (December 25th) is extremely rare. Here are some postcard moments from Sherwood (Pulaski County) not long after the snow ended (close to dawn on the 26th). About 10 inches of snow was on the ground.
