TEMPERATURES CONTINUED TO RUN ABOVE AVERAGE INTO OCTOBER. THERE WERE
ONLY A FEW DAYS IN THE THIRD AND THE FINAL WEEKS WITH COOLER THAN
AVERAGE TEMPERATURES, WHILE DAYS DURING MUCH OF THE MONTH RAN 5-10
DEGREES OR MORE ABOVE AVERAGE. FOR THE SECOND OCTOBER IN A ROW, THERE
WERE NO 90-DEGREE READINGS. HOWEVER, THERE WERE ALSO NO FREEZES FOR
THE FIRST OCTOBER IN THREE YEARS, AND NO TEMPERATURES COLDER THAN 40 FOR
THE FIRST OCTOBER IN FIVE YEARS.

RAINFALL WAS ABOVE AVERAGE, THOUGH IT WAS THE DRIEST OCTOBER IN SEVERAL
YEARS. THERE WERE 12 DAYS WITH MEASURABLE RAINFALL, WHICH WAS THE MOST IN
OCTOBER SINCE 2009.

NO SNOW FELL FOR THE THIRD OCTOBER IN A ROW.

THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMEST SINCE 2017. THE AVERAGE
