DESPITE THE TREND OF WARMER THAN AVERAGE TEMPERATURES DURING MUCH OF
THE FALL, NOVEMBER, BY CONTRAST, WENT THE OTHER DIRECTION. THE MONTH
ENDED OVER A DEGREE BELOW THE 30-YEAR MEAN, MAKING IT THE COLDEST
NOVEMBER IN TWO YEARS. OVER HALF OF THE MONTH SAW DAILY READINGS AT
OR BELOW AVERAGE, WITH THE COOLEST PERIOD BEING THE FIRST WEEK OF
THE MONTH, AND WARMER PERIODS SCATTERED THROUGHOUT. THE FIRST FREEZE
WAS RECORDED ON THE 13TH, WHICH WAS THE EARLIEST IN TWO YEARS, AND
EARLIER THAN AVERAGE.

RAINFALL WAS BELOW AVERAGE, WITH THE MONTH OVER TWO AND A HALF
INCHES BELOW THE 30-YEAR MEAN RAINFALL FOR NOVEMBER. THE MAJORITY OF
THE MONTHLY RAINFALL OCCURRED DURING A 24-HOUR PERIOD ON THE 9TH-
