Moved ENE from SW of Madison to 11m ENE of town. Seventeen homes were destroyed, and 30 more homes were heavily damaged. Several commercial buildings, a church, and three buildingsat North Florida Junior College were destroyed. Two of the dead were in mobile homes and two were in a farm "cottage" building. Six people had to be hospitalized. About 90,000 chicks were killed. |

An F1 tornado touched down near Lake Logan Road north of U.S. Highway 90. The tornado destroyed three double wide trailers, flipped over several vehicles, and downed numerous trees and power lines. One person sustained minor injuries from flying debris. Reported by the Madison County EMA. |

An EF1 tornado developed quickly and touched down near Cherry Lake. The tornado snapped and uprooted trees along Couty Road 471. It also damaged the porch and roof of a home. A vehicle was damaged by fallen trees. About 130 acres of planted pine trees were also destroyed. |

An EF1 tornado with 100 mph winds touched down in Madison County early Monday morning. The path length was 2.17 miles. One mobile home was shifted off its blocks. A small outbuilding was swept off its foundation and rolled several feet. Another mobile home nearby was shifted slightly and the blocks underneath are now tilted. Considerable tree damage was present throughout the path. There were no injuries or fatalities. |

Initial damage was noted in far eastern Jefferson County along HWY 257 near its intersection with Walker Spring Rd. Damage consisting of many hundreds of snapped and uprooted trees continued east northeast into Madison County eventually crossing HWY 19. There was also at least one wooden power pole snapped. This tornado was rated EF1 with max winds estimated at 90 mph. |

Initial damage, consisting of a few dozen trees uprooted and snapped, was noted on a farm on the west side of HWY 221 just south of I-10. Damage, consisting of hundreds of snapped and uprooted trees, continued to the east northeast crossing Sundown Creek Rd. and eventually I-10. After the tornado crossed I-10 it moved into inaccessible areas of the Hixton Swamp Conservation Area . Based on radar the tornado remained on the ground continuously until damage became accessible again along HWY 360A just south of the intersection with CR 35. Damage to several trees at this location was the last damage evident from this tornado. Damage further northeast in Madison was from a separate brief spinup after this tornado lifted. This tornado was rated EF1 with max winds estimated at 90 mph. |

A business suffered roof uplift and had a window blown in . There was significant water damage inside the business. There was an outbuilding damaged at the south Duval Street location as well. There was also scattered minor tree damage in the area. This tornado was rated EF0 with max winds estimated at 75 mph. Damage cost was estimated. |

This tornado initially touched down near NW Little Cat Road in Madison County. Significant tree damage and minor structural damage was noted at a home along County Road 150. The tree damage intensified as the tornado moved northeast across a quail farm along Boggy Bay Road. Significant tree damage and damage to farm outbuildings suggests EF-1 intensity. This was the tornado's widest point. The path narrowed as it crossed County Road 253 where a significant number of snapped pine trees was noted. The tornado then weakened, with no other known structural damage, before lifting just southwest of State Road 53 near the Florida-Georgia line. Maximum winds are estimated to be 105 mph with a maximum width of 475 yards. Thanks to Madison County Emergency Management and Florida Division of Emergency Management for help with the survey. |

A tornado touched down in a rural area of far western Madison county , snapping and uprooting numerous trees. No structures were impacted. The tornado is rated EF1 with max winds estimated at 95 mph based on the tree damage. We would like to thank the Madison County Emergency Management for providing pictures from the area. |
