The potential for heavy rainfall will exist from through Wednesday. The risk is greatest over Southeast Alabama and Southwest Georgia, but a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 4) exists across most of the region. Heavy rain may lead to ponding of water on roadways and isolated flash flooding.
High Risk of Rip Currents for the Walton, Bay, and West-facing Gulf County beaches through tonight. Rip Currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water! Residents and visitors are strongly encouraged to stay out of the surf where red flags are flying.
