Tropical Depression (TD) #9 is forecast to strengthen into a tropical storm Tonight while moving northward over the Bahamas. It is then forecast to be at or near hurricane intensity early next week as it approaches the Southeast US Coast. Direct impacts are not expected in the Tri-State Region. Peripherical impacts of breezy conditions and increased rain chances are possible next week.
