Alert Notification and Email Lists
- The National Tsunami Hazard Mitigation Program (NTHMP) does not provide email tsunami alert notifications such as tsunami information statements, tsunami threat messages, tsunami watches, tsunami advisories, or tsunami warnings.
- To see real-time tsunami event information, visit the tsunami.gov website.
- If you wish to sign up for tsunami bulletins through the UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission, visit this page on the International Tsunami Information Center website.
- Alerts and notifications from U.S. domestic states and localities (counties, cities, etc.) may be available directly from the respective state or locality. Visit that state's or locality's website for more information, or contact your local emergency management office for more details. (NOAA/National Weather Service or the NTHMP does not maintain a list of self-subscribe state or local notification systems.) Information about third-party subscriber services is here.
- If you ARE from a local government in a U.S. state or territory, contact the appropriate NTHMP partner for your state/territory to ask if they have an email list they use to share information and engage local government leaders.
We used to have a self-subscribing email listserv, but it was discontinued due to Federal Government cybersecurity concerns.
