Severe Weather Potential for Center of Nation; Dangerous Surf Conditions for the East; Watching the Tropics

Low pressure over the center of the nation will focus showers and thunderstorms, some severe with heavy rainfall, the next couple of days. In addition, high surf, coastal flooding and rip currents will remain a concern for most of the eastern seaboard through early this week.
