Severe thunderstorms are expected across the Central Plains accompanied by damaging wind gusts and large hail. In addition, heavy rainfall may lead to instances of flash flooding from the Plains and mid-Atlantic regions. Borden/Howard County Tornadoes June 5

A family of tornadoes struck the area around Lake J. B. Thomas Sunday evening. Four tornadoes developed from a supercell thunderstorm near the Borden and Howard County line north of Big Spring around 7 PM CDT.
