MAY 2015 WILL LONG BE REMEMBERED IN ARKANSAS FOR RECORD RAINFALL AND
WIDESPREAD FLOODING...PARTICULARLY ALONG THE ARKANSAS RIVER.
RAINFALL IN MAY ALONE WAS OVER 200 PERCENT OF NORMAL IN A LARGE PART
OF THE STATE...WHILE IN THE EASTERN AND SOUTHEASTERN PORTIONS...
PRECIPITATION WAS BELOW AVERAGE.

SIMILAR TO MAY...SPRING RAINFALL ENDED UP BEING WELL ABOVE AVERAGE
IN ALL AREAS...WITH THE EXCEPTION OF PORTIONS OF THE EAST AND
SOUTHEAST. THE SPRING SEASON IS DEFINED AS MARCH 1ST THROUGH MAY
31ST.

ARKANSAS. AT THE SITES LISTED BELOW...MAY 2015 WAS IN THE TOP FIVE
