Light to moderate snow will continue into Saturday over the Great Lakes, Central Appalachians, and Northeast. This weekend into next week, a series of atmospheric rivers will bring gusty winds, periods of heavy rain, and mountain snow to northern California and the Pacific Northwest. Colder temperatures are in store for the weekend from the Great Lakes to East Coast. Read More >
The end of spring 2019 saw the Jackson Weather Office finish as the 7th driest spring by being over
three inches below normal. Jackson was also about a degree and a half warmer during spring, placing
2019 as the 14th warmest spring. The London Corbin Airport has an incomplete precipitation total due
to precipitation sensor outages in April as well as May. It was the 17th warmest spring at London when
they finished exactly one degree above normal.
May 2019 ended up warmer at Jackson and London as well. Jackson finished May as 7th warmest May while
London saw May 2019 place as 6th warmest as both locations were around four degrees above normal.
Jackson was a little over a quarter of an inch drier than normal while the London precipitation total is missing
from May 2019 due to a sensor error.
The following are Spring and May climate summaries for Jackson and London as well as the May Local
Climatological Data reports for Jackson and London:
