Snow Across the Great Lakes, Central Appalachians, and Northeast; Unsettled Weather in the West

Light to moderate snow will continue into Saturday over the Great Lakes, Central Appalachians, and Northeast. This weekend into next week, a series of atmospheric rivers will bring gusty winds, periods of heavy rain, and mountain snow to northern California and the Pacific Northwest. July 2021 was near normal temperature-wise eastern Kentucky.  Jackson averaged 75.8 degrees which

made July 2021 almost a half a degree warmer than normal. London finished July 2021 with a reading of

75.5 degrees which is 0.8 degrees below normal. Jackson finished July with a total of 7.52 inches which is

almost three inches normal.  In fact, July 2021 was the 3rd wettest July at Jackson. The London Corbin

Airport finished July 2021 with a precipitation total of 9.45 inches which is almost 5 and a half  inches

wetter than normal. July 2021 was the 4th wettest July at London. Climate data for Jackson dates back to 1981

while weather records began in 1954 at London.
