April 2021 was dry and cool across eastern Kentucky.  Jackson averaged 57.0 

degrees which is almost a half a degree below normal. London finished April 

2021 with a reading of 54.5  degrees which is two degrees cooler than normal.

Jackson totaled 3.39 inches of  precipitation for April which is near a half an

inch below normal. London measured 1.45 inches of precipitation for April 2021

which is over two and a half inches drier than normal. Also of note, April 2021

was the second driest April at London.  Climate data for Jackson dates back to 

1981 while weather records began in 1954 at London.
