Lake effect snow showers in a few spots, otherwise partly sunny today. Temperatures remain on the chilly side with the 20s and 30s across the region. Rain/snow showers will be possible Wednesday into Thursday, little in the way of accumulation is anticipated across most locations.

A period of above normal warmth looks to materialize just in time for this weekend. Temperatures well into the 40s and 50s (perhaps even 60s!) are anticipated through the weekend, with plentiful sunshine through much of the weekend.
