Severe Thunderstorms Across Portions of the Central Plains and Mississippi Valley; Heat Continues in the Southern Plains

Severe thunderstorms may develop from parts of the central Plains into parts of the Middle and Upper Mississippi Valley today. Large hail and damaging winds are the primary threats, as well as a couple tornadoes possible.
