Daytime temperatures have risen above freezing for much of the area, with precipitation type remaining as rain. Locations where the temperature is near or below freezing may still experience freezing rain. Precipitation type is expected to transition from west to east from rain, to a rain/snow mix this evening, before becoming all snow by tonight. A inch or two of snow is possible. 

Ice Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories are in effect locally until 7PM this evening.

Through This Evening: Ice Storm Ending In Central Wisconsin

  • What: Additional ice from a glaze up to 0.1" in spots. Snow up to 1". 
  • Where: Central and Northern Wisconsin.
  • Timing: Rain transitions to rain/snow and becoming all snow around 6 to 8PM.
  • Impacts: Untreated surfaces will become ice covered. Dangerous travel conditions for motorists and pedestrian traffic.
  • ACTION: Anticipate icy conditions. Be ready to delay, alter or cancel travel plans. Tree damage, power outages possible with stronger winds.
