The bulk of the moderate to heavy snow is shifting east into eastern WI, giving most of the local area a few hour break from snowfall. However, another area of light snow will shift in from the northwest toward midnight and could bring another 1/2" of snow. In addition, gusty winds could blow and drift much of the new snow, especially over parts of southeast MN and northeast IA.

Many roads remain snow-covered. Travel will be slippery to hazardous through tonight. Please monitor road conditions and adjust travel plans as necessary.
