Comments

  • Thanks to you and the ARX Leadership Team for hosting this workshop. Both Amanda and Kevin had great things to say about it and as I looked over their handouts, I was chagrined that I missed it. (Carol Christenson - DLH WCM)
  • Thank you Jeff - it was an awesome conference! You all did an excellent job facilitating and organizing the event. (Dan Luna MPX MIC)
  • I was very impressed with the conference and the level of professionalism by all who organized it. Thank you so much for the hospitality your office showed to me and all who participated. I look forward to working with everyone on Diversity and making our program stronger! (Marie Hoffpauer, Workforce Program Coordinator NWS Central Region Headquarters)
  • It was a very well organized conference that I got a LOT out of. Wish everyone could attend such gatherings. Thanks for all the work you and the others from your office put in to make it happen! (Amanda Graning, WFO DLH Forecaster)
  • It was certainly our pleasure on attending this very well-facilitated and well-rounded conference. The talks and interactions fostered were both refreshing and rejuvenating. I further learned about myself and the people world around me. You should be quite proud of the job you and your group did on this workshop, and you are serving as a role model to many of us with how you have embraced and encouraged leadership within your office. (Matt Friedlein MPX Forecaster)
  • I really enjoyed giving the presentation and meeting such wonderful people over those two days. I learned so much from the talks given and I am looking forward to sharing as much of it as I can to the staff here. Your work on this seminar had to be substantial and I applaud you for all of the hard work you have done. Also, your talk at the end was a perfect way to sum up the seminar. Great job! (Christine Wielgos PAH Forecaster)
  • My congratulations on a great conference! Caught up with Ben yesterday to hear about it - sounds like it was a fantastic couple of days. Ben is going to present material he picked up to everyone here at a staff meeting next month - looking forward to that. So the legacy of the conference carries forward! Again congrats on a great event. Wish we'd have been able to send more people. (Ed Fenelon LOT MIC)
  • I so enjoyed myself...and your colleagues. (Stacy Shapiro) Thank you for organizing the Leadership Diversity conference. This was my first opportunity to visit La Crosse and I was delighted with the beauty of your CWA. I am sorry the visit was so short and that Linda and I had to return to work on Thursday. While we really would have enjoyed attending the conference both days, Linda and I agreed that the May 4th presentations will provide lots of food for thought. Thank you again for allowing us to be a part of this conference. Best regards. (Terry Simmons DVN DAPM)
  • I enjoyed the visit very much. The group was very receptive and eager to learn. That's all I need to validate my presence. Thank you for the opportunity to share the NWS diversity management process. It's always a pleasure to meet the manager NWS field managers and employees. I cherish each opportunity to do so. Mahalo nui loa! (Charly Wells, NWS HQ, Office of Equal Opportunity & Diversity Management OEODM Director, Washington D.C)
  • I know topics during your conference look down on a mass email like this (he he) and lack of "human moment", but I wanted to express my thanks and a job WELL DONE for your work with the conference this week. I know how hard of work it is planning something like this and I appreciate all the time, meetings, and effort you put into it. I thought the conference went very well and I learned a lot. KUDOS to all of you! (Todd Shea, ARX WCM)
  • Thank you for the opportunity to share Mayo's diversity message. Please thank your wife for the coasters, I am putting them to good use! (Linda Matti, Mayo Medical School's Administrator for Multicultural Education and Leadership Development, Rochester, MN)
