With increasing certainty, the storm that we have been tracking for the past couple of days has started to move towards southeast Alaska this weekend. What does this mean for southcentral Alaska? With this storm, significant snowfall is no longer expected for southcentral Alaska. However, there is a slight chance for snow flurries in the Anchorage area and the Kenai Peninsula tonight through the weekend. If it does snow, accumulations will be minimal.
