A low pressure system has pushed into the western Gulf of Alaska impacting the weather in most of Southwest and Southcentral Alaska. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Kuskokwim Delta for blowing snow. Expect visibilities as low as ½ mile with 2-5 inches of snow accumulation. In Southcentral Alaska, a wintry mix of precipitation is at play with above freezing temperatures making their way into the area. In addition to the warm and moist air, gusty winds are in the forecast with speeds as high as 70 mph in along Turnagain Arm and Portage Valley.
