Strong Front Moving Into the Gulf of Alaska

Outdoor recreation activities and boating along the northern/western Gulf Coast and Prince William Sound area will be challenging Monday into Tuesday as a strong front moves into the Gulf.

Expect winds to peak Monday evening close to 50 knots (58 mph) in the western Gulf.

Heavy rainfall is also expected along the Gulf Coast with 1" - 3" of rain forecasted through Tuesday evening in coastal areas.
