Zonal flow will be in place across the southern CONUS this week as a broad, elongated upper level ridge (H) remains in place. As a result, mostly dry conditions and unseasonably warm temps will prevail through the week.
Here's a quick peak at the High and Low Temperature forecast around the state for the week. Temperatures will remain near normal to start the week before creeping above normal by the weekend. Additionally rain chances diminish after Monday morning.
Highs across the state will be start to creep above normal this afternoon. High temperatures will range from just below 80 to the mid 80s across the state.
A big warmup for the Central US is on the horizon. Above normal highs into the upper 80s and 90s are likely within the next 6 to 10 days. Rain chances are likely to increase again by next weekend into next week.
