Cooler and drier air will filter into the state tonight behind a cold front, with overnight lows falling to the upper 30s over the northwest, and upper 40s to low 50s across central to southern Arkansas.
After a few days of above-normal temperatures, cooler high temperatures will be seen across the state on Thursday in the wake of a cold front, with highs topping out in the mid to upper 60s at most locations.
On this day in 1984, the extreme northwest portions of the state saw heavy snowfall while most of the state saw heavy rainfall and some light snow. Totals across the Ozarks ranged from 10-14 inches in snow accumulations.
