Overview

For the second time in 7 days a winter storm impacted much of central and eastern Kansas.  This storm brought widespread 1 to 3 inch snow amounts to the region with much of it falling during the Monday morning commute. This resulted in dozens of accidents.

Through November 13th, this has been the snowiest start to a winter season since 1951.  The 2 inches of snow in Wichita on Monday November 12th, set a new daily snowfall record for the date.
