January 31st 2008 southern Kansas snow storm...

A low pressure system ejected out into the plains early Thursday January 31st spreading a swath of snow across Southern and Southeast Kansas. This storm brought 4 inches of snow to Wichita Kansas pushing the seasonal total to 18.1 inches. This is 1.4 inches above the seasonal average of 16.7 inches with plenty of winter left.
