Strong to Severe Thunderstorms in the Midwest, Northern Plains and Ohio Valley; Hot Weather in the Central Plains

Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible in portions of the Midwest and the northern Plains today. Heavy to excessive rainfall may bring flooding to the Ohio Valley and central Appalachians today. Hot to excessively hot temperatures are expected over the central Plains much of this week.
