Dangerous Cold Lingers in the Southeast U.S.; High Winds Continue Critical Fire Weather in Southern California

Dangerously cold temperatures will linger today across the Southeast U.S. followed by a slow return to near normal readings expected by Friday into the weekend. High winds and low humidity will maintain critical fire weather conditions in southern California into Friday morning.
