Severe Weather Outbreak Friday and Saturday; Extremely Critical Fire Weather Friday

A strong storm will move across the Intermountain West into the Northern Great Plains bringing widespread high winds with increasing snow. An intense and fast-moving line of severe storms is expected across the Mississippi Valley into the Ohio Valley beginning Friday afternoon. After a long hiatus SMG is sharing KSC area wind towers out to MADIS and the Utah MesoWest every 5 minutes.  You can see the data at:

  • Utah MesoWest To see the KSC towers be sure to click the Network dropdown box and select "All Networks".  This site is especially nice as all tower levels can be listed with a few clicks.
