Lingering Winter Weather in Interior New England; Snow Squalls Developing Downwind of the Lower Great Lakes

A wintry mix will continue in interior New England through tonight as a coastal storm quickly passes to the east. Heavy snow is expected in northern Maine, with a coating of ice expected for much of interior New England. After a long hiatus SMG is sharing KSC area wind towers out to MADIS and the Utah MesoWest every 5 minutes.  You can see the data at:

  • NWS Weather and Hazards Viewer 
  • Utah MesoWest To see the KSC towers be sure to click the Network dropdown box and select "All Networks".  This site is especially nice as all tower levels can be listed with a few clicks.
