Above Average Temperatures in the West; Winter Weather Returns to the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes

Well above average temperatures will continue across the West this week, potentially breaking some daily high temperature records. A storm system dropping south out of Canada will bring a wintry mix to the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes Tuesday, pushing into the Central Appalachians and interior Northeast on Wednesday. After a long hiatus SMG is sharing KSC area wind towers out to MADIS and the Utah MesoWest every 5 minutes.  You can see the data at:

  • Utah MesoWest To see the KSC towers be sure to click the Network dropdown box and select "All Networks".  This site is especially nice as all tower levels can be listed with a few clicks.
