Aug. 11 | 11 de agosto: A tropical wave will bring a better chance for showers and thunderstorms across Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands today. The main hazard is an elevated flooding risk, with urban and small-stream flooding and isolated flash flooding possible. Isolated lightning may accompany some thunderstorms. Hot and humid conditions will continue between showers, while wind and heat risks remain limited. | Una onda tropical traerá mejores probabilidades de aguaceros y tronadas a Puerto Rico y las Islas Vírgenes Estadounidenses hoy. Aug. 11 | 11 de agosto: A moderate rip current risk continues today along much of the northern coast of Puerto Rico and Culebra, where life-threatening rip currents are possible in the surf zone. A low risk is expected across the remaining depicted coastal areas, including Vieques and the U.S. Virgin Islands, but rip currents can still occur, especially near piers and jetties.
