📅 Sep 17, 2026. Moisture trailing a departing tropical wave will keep the atmosphere unsettled today. Expect a transition from morning showers and thunderstorms over the eastern islands and eastern Puerto Rico to more afternoon convection downwind of the islands and mountains, including northwestern Puerto Rico. The rainfall will be beneficial for areas affected by dry conditions and may help reservoir levels, but periods of heavy rain and thunderstorms still warrant caution. 17 de septiembre de 2026. La humedad detrás de una onda tropical mantendrá el tiempo inestable hoy. La actividad se moverá desde el este durante la mañana hacia zonas a sotavento y el noroeste en la tarde. Life-threatening rip currents are possible along portions of southern and eastern Puerto Rico, Vieques, Culebra, and St. Croix. Corrientes marinas que amenazan la vida son posibles en sectores del sur y este de Puerto Rico, Vieques, Culebra y St. Croix.
