Dangerous rip currents can occur even when the ocean appears calm, especially near reefs, jetties, and piers. 🌦️ Isolated showers and thunderstorms may affect some beaches this afternoon. A tropical wave arriving Sunday will increase the risk of thunderstorms, lightning, heavy rain, and gusty winds. 🏊 Swim near lifeguards and follow local beach safety guidance. *** ESPAÑOL *** 🏖️ El riesgo moderado de corrientes marinas continúa hoy en varias playas de Puerto Rico y las Islas Vírgenes Estadounidenses.
