THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON WV HAS CONFIRMED A
TORNADO NEAR 1 MILE NORTH OF BELLEVILLE IN WOOD COUNTY WEST
VIRGINIA ON SEPTEMBER 16 2010.

THIS TORNADO IS THE SAME TORNADO THAT AFFECTED LOCATIONS NEAR
REEDSVILLE IN MEIGS COUNTY OHIO...JUST ACROSS THE OHIO RIVER.
SIGNIFICANT STRUCTURAL AND TREE DAMAGE WAS NOTED ALONG PORTIONS OF
STATE ROUTE 68...PUB STREAM ACCESS RD...AND LEE CREEK RD. SEVERAL
WELL BUILT SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCES RECEIVED MAJOR DAMAGE. IN
ADDITION...A WELL BUILT SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE WAS COMPLETELY
DESTROYED...WITH THE FOUNDATION WIPED CLEAN. A STEEL GIRDER
PROJECTILE INSIDE A TRUCK WAS NOTED AS WELL AS SEVERAL CARS THAT
WERE TOSSED A FAIR DISTANCE FROM THEIR ORIGINAL LOCATION.
