What can you do to help us build a Weather–Ready Nation?

Become a Weather–Ready Nation Ambassador! Building a Weather–Ready Nation requires more than government action alone. It requires partnerships with organizations across all segments of society for better community, business, and personal decision making. Any organization committed to serving as an example and engaging their stakeholders to make our region ready, responsive, and resilient to weather hazards can be an WRN Ambassador!

Whether talking about preparedness and resilience in your office, at community centers, within schools or local businesses, on your website, or on social media, you will be helping to spread the word, inspire others to take action, and helping our region become more weather–ready.

What are the benefits to signing up to be a WRN Ambassador?

Your organization will be formally recognized as a WRN Ambassador on this webpage and on social media.
A local NWS point of contact will reach out to you to answer any questions you may have and explore collaboration opportunities.
You will be added to a national email list which is used to update WRN Ambassadors on the availability of innovative weather safety resources you can use in your organization. You can even place your logo on the materials.
You will be added to a local email list which is used to alert WRN Ambassadors of weather events which could have a major impact on our region. The email will suggest preparedness materials that you can share to your contacts.
You will be able to post the WRN Ambassador logo on your webpage or in print.
