Tracking Storm System Across the Central U.S.

A storm system will slowly continue to press across the central U.S. Friday and Saturday with widespread showers and thunderstorms. Slight risks for severe thunderstorms and excessive rainfall have been issued Saturday from the Ozarks into the mid-Mississippi River Valley with potential for damaging winds, large hail, tornadoes, and flash flooding.  The Monthly Rainfall Totals are rainfall data collected from the U.S.-Affiliated Pacific Islands (USAPI). Providing up-to-date information on climate variability related to the ENSO climate cycle for their respectable regions. This data is intended to supply information for the benefit of those involved in such climate-sensitive sectors as civil defense, resource management, and developmental planning in the various jurisdictions of the USAPI.
