Beryl made landfall this morning and will bring multiple hazards across Texas today, then track northeastward the next few days. Life threatening coastal affects including rip currents are expected for the north-central Gulf Coast, in addition to excessive rainfall and a few tornadoes mainly along and east of the track of Beryl. On this date back in 1993, severe thunderstorms moved across northern
parts of Oklahoma, creating widespread wind damage. Most of the damage was reported in the Newkirk and Blackwell areas of Kay County, where large trees where toppled. |
