A corridor of heavy rainfall is expected across southeast Oklahoma beginning this evening. Minor flooding will be possible across low- lying and flood-prone areas.
Patchy to dense fog will reduce visibilites across our area overnight. Take precautions if driving in dense fog where the visibilite could reduce below 1/4 mile.
Isolated severe storms are possible Wednesday evening into night in parts of southern Oklahoma and north Texas. Hail up to the size of quarters is the main concern.
Rain chances increase through tonight, then gradually move out on Thursday.
Temperatures will generally be above normal for this time of year with the warmest temperatures expected on Saturday and Sunday.
High rain chances for Thursday, followed by a dry period thorugh the weekend. Temperatures will be generally above normal.

Local Weather History For January 29th...
January 1986 marks the driest January in the recorded weather history
of Oklahoma City. Not even a trace of precipitation fell during the
entire month. The dry spell lasted longer than just the one month, as
no measurable precipitation fell in Oklahoma City from the 13th of
December until the 2nd of February. There is only one other month on
record at Oklahoma City in which not even a trace of precipitation
fell. That month is August, back in the year 2000.
