Heavy Rainfall and Flooding Concerns in the Southeast; Unsettled Weather in the West

Heavy to excessive rainfall will persist across much of the Southeast U.S. over the next several days, with isolated flash flooding possible. The heaviest rainfall is forecast over the east coast of Florida. Showers and thunderstorms will continue in the Pacific Northwest and Intermountain West through the weekend. March 13th - March 23rd 2019

Heavy rainfall over frozen soil and rapid snow melt led to record river levels across several states. The map below shows the river gauges that had record crests during the March 13th - March 23rd time period. Each point is clickable and contains the new record information as well as flooding images at some sites.
