Join us for the Mid-South Wings and Weather Conference! This event is an excellent opportunity to bring experts together from the weather and aviation communities.

This event will be held in the new FedEx Air Operations Training Center adjacent to the Global Operations Center in Memphis, Tennessee July 7-8, 2017.

Cost

This event is FREE and is held in collaboration with FedEx, the National Weather Service, and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Lodging

Several hotels are located nearby, but there will not be any rooms blocked for this event.

Registration has officially closed for the Mid-South Wings and Weather Conference. If you have already registered and you would like to change any information or cancel your registration, please contact Stephen Kearney: stephen.kearney@noaa.gov

Pilots: To earn WINGs credit, a signup sheet will be available at the conference each day. However, please register at the above link.

Local Facility Tours

Tours will be available on Saturday afternoon of the FedEx Global Operations Control Center, FAA Memphis Air Route Traffic Control Center, and National Weather Service - Memphis Forecast Office. For security purposes, signups for the Memphis ARTCC tours have ended.

Topics presented are intended to be for NWS and private sector forecasters, pilots, ATC, airline, and Flight Service. Topics will focus on aviation weather decision support, forecasting tools & techniques, updated policies, and new research.
