After a milder stretch this weekend into Monday, sharply colder air looks to take over from Tuesday through Thursday with the potential for dangerous wind chills and light wintry precipitation. Continue to watch our forecasts for the latest updates!
Relatively mild temperatures are expected tonight as dry west winds continue. Most areas are expected to see lows above freezing tonight.
A cold front will move through the forecast area tomorrow, bringing cooler temperatures and breezy, northerly winds.
Next week will start off with a gradual warming Sunday into Monday. Cooler temperatures return mid next week with chances of wintry precipitation Tuesday night into Wednesday and extremely cold wind chills. This graphic represents Lubbock and the surrounding areas.
