Snow Across the Great Lakes, Central Appalachians, and Northeast; Unsettled Weather in the West

Light to moderate snow will continue into Saturday over the Great Lakes, Central Appalachians, and Northeast. This weekend into next week, a series of atmospheric rivers will bring gusty winds, periods of heavy rain, and mountain snow to northern California and the Pacific Northwest. The data in the table below shows official snowfall observations, which are taken every 6 hours, going back over the past 36 hours. The most recent observations are on the left. New data generally updates around 6:30 AM/PM CST (7:30 AM/PM CDT) and 12:30 AM/PM CST (1:30 AM/PM CDT).  

If you notice old data, try reloading the page while ignoring caching by hitting Shift + F5 on a PC, or Shift + Command + R on a Mac.

A measurement denoted as 'T' indicates that a trace of snowfall was recorded, which signifies that snow fell, but did not accumulate during the corresponding 6-hour observation period.
