Frequency distribution of high temperatures for Rockford. This dataset shows that the most frequent range of high temperatures on Memorial Day is in the 70 to 79 degree range. Since Memorial Day isn’t on a set day, there is no normal high temperature. The highest temperature on Memorial Day is 96 degrees which occurred on May 30th in 1934. The lowest high temperature on Memorial Day is 47 degrees, which occurred on May 28th, 1984. Last year, on May 29th, 2017 the high temperature was 74.

 

Low Temperatures for Rockford on Memorial Day

Frequency distribution of low temperatures for Rockford. This dataset shows that the most frequent range of low temperatures on Memorial Day is in the 50 to 59 degree range. Since Memorial Day isn’t on a set day, there is no normal low temperature. The lowest temperature for Rockford on Memorial Day is 35, which occurred on May 30th in 1924 as well as May 25 in 1992.  The highest low temperature on Memorial Day is 73 on May 30th in 1953. The low temperature last year on May 29th, 2017 was 53 degrees.
