Frequency distribution of high temperatures for Chicago. This dataset shows that the most frequent range of high temperatures on Memorial Day is in the 70 to 79 degree range. Since Memorial Day isn’t on a set day, there is no normal high temperature. The highest temperature on Memorial Day is 95 degrees which occurred on May 28th in 2012. The lowest high temperature on Memorial Day is 42 degrees, which occurred on May 30th, 1889. Last year, on May 29th, 2017, the high temperature was 77.
