WNG-536 DeKalb, 162.550 MHz
NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio station WNG-536 serves DeKalb county, from a 300 Watt transmitter in DeKalb, Illinois. The new transmitter is located on a tower provided by Northern Illinois University's Department of Environmental Health and Safety. Continuous 24 hour programming is provided from the National Weather Service Chicago Forecast Office, located southwest of Chicago in Romeoville Illinois.
