Tonight's Supermoon Eclipse

A total lunar eclipse will take place this evening, which will be visible (weather permitting) across the Midwest. This eclipse will occur during the closest full moon of the year (lunar perigee), which results in the name "Supermoon". This eclipse will also occur during the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox, making this a Harvest moon as well. Times for viewing of the eclipse are displayed on the graphic. Unfortunately, the forecast for this evening is for partly to mostly cloudy skies during the eclipse, though breaks are likely in the cloud cover with at least some partial views of the eclipse possible.
