Chicago and Rockford...

At Chicago, the average high temperature was 35.7 degrees, which
is 0.9 degrees below normal. The average low temperature was 22.5
degrees, which is 1.9 degrees below normal. The average
temperature for the month was 29.1 degrees, which is 1.4 degrees
below normal. During the month of December, 2.16 inches of
precipitation were recorded, which is 0.05 of an inch above
normal. 3.2 inches of snow were recorded, which is 4.4 inches
below normal.
