AT CHICAGO...THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 80.9 DEGREES WHICH IS
1.0 DEGREE BELOW NORMAL. THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 62.6
DEGREES WHICH IS 0.3 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE
FOR THE MONTH WAS 71.8 DEGREES WHICH IS 0.6 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL.
DURING THE MONTH OF AUGUST...2.16 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION WAS RECORDED
WHICH IS 2.74 INCHES BELOW NORMAL. A TRACE OF SNOW WAS RECORDED FOR THE
MONTH IN THE FORM OF HAIL.

THERE WERE NO RECORDS SET FOR CHICAGO FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST 2015.

AT ROCKFORD...THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 81.6 DEGREES WHICH IS

AT CHICAGO...THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE FOR THE SUMMER SEASON WAS
79.9 DEGREES WHICH IS 2.0 DEGREES BELOW THE 1981 TO 2010 AVERAGE.
THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 61.0 DEGREES WHICH IS 0.7 DEGREES
BELOW NORMAL. THE MEAN TEMPERATURE FOR THE SEASON WAS 70.5 DEGREES
WHICH IS 1.3 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL.

A TOTAL OF 12.13 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION WAS RECORDED DURING THIS
PAST SUMMER...WHICH IS 0.08 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. THERE WAS A
TOTAL OF A TRACE OF SNOW RECORDED AT OHARE...WHICH FELL IN THE FORM
OF HAIL.
