Snow Across the Great Lakes, Central Appalachians, and Northeast; Unsettled Weather in the West

Light to moderate snow will continue into Saturday over the Great Lakes, Central Appalachians, and Northeast. This weekend into next week, a series of atmospheric rivers will bring gusty winds, periods of heavy rain, and mountain snow to northern California and the Pacific Northwest. February 8, 2017: Two to four inches of snow along and south of I-80

January 10, 2017: High winds across northern Illinois and northwest Indiana

December 16-18, 2016: Two minor snow events, including a heavy lake effect snow band with 8+ inches into far northwest Indiana

December 10-11, 2016: Snow totals of 6-12 inches across northeastern Illinois
December 4, 2016: Heavy wet snowfall for the first event of the season; largest December snowfall for Chicago O'Hare in 11 years
