NOAA Weather Radio Tone Alert Test TODAY at 11 AM Local Time

The normal weekly tone alert test WILL go on as scheduled today at 11 AM local time. Transmitters based in eastern time zone will have the test at 11 AM EDT, whereas those in central Kentucky in the central time zone will have the test at 11 AM CDT. No severe weather is expected at this time, but the test will be a good way to check your weather radios for potential alerts of severe weather later on this afternoon and evening.
